Job Vacancy - Parish Clerk

Part - time (9 – 15 hours per week, to be negotiated with successful candidate).

Salary based on NJC pay scale (point 24 – 28, pro rata).

National NJC pay awards will apply.

Due to the retirement of the previous officer, Halsall Parish Council is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated candidate for the above vacancy. 

The parish clerk is the responsible financial officer and data protection officer and has responsibility for ensuring that the instructions of the council are carried out.  The parish clerk is also secretary for the Halsall War Memorial Playing Field and Hall Trust (registered charity number 521111). 

The post is supported by a part-time assistant parish clerk.
